Akua toured as a opening act with such artists as Damion, Stephen, Julian and Kimani Marley, Mikey Dred Shinehead, Aswad, Rocker Te, Beenie Man, Buju Bantoan, Fully and The Fullwood Band. Mad Lion, Eek-a-Mouse, Ozomatli, KRS2, OutKast, Goodie Mob, Boom Shaka and The Blackeyed Peas.

Akua has locally opened for The Wailing Souls, Shaggy, Sean Paul, Ben Harper, The Roots, Siste Carol, Barrington Levy, Steel Puls, Anthony B, Cristinti, Norris Man, and Naughty By Nature. She hase toured as a backup songer for Eek-a-mouse, Fully and the Fullwood, Mikey Dredd, Shinehead, Humble Soul, Ini Kamozie, Medusa and Feline Science, Simple Simon.
