Canela Rose : Tex Mex 

The Canela Rose Band is a variety band, playing Tex-Mex, Latin Rock (Santana), Oldies Rock and some Country tunes. 

  The Canela Rose Band originated in phoenix, Arizona and played throughout the state in cities such as Flagstaff, Prescott, Miami, Apache Junction, Tempe, Mesa and others. 

  The band relocated to California in late 1997 and has performed at local venues around the Sacramento area, as well as various festivals, such as the Strawberry Festival in Roseville, Hot August Cruising Nights in Woodland and Hot Chile Cool Cars Festival in Rocklin.

Canela Rose has not released any recordings to date, however,  plans to do so in the near future.

 The band currently consists of the following members; Paul Rodriguez, vocals and guitar; Gloria Rodriguez, vocals and keyboards; Mike Archuleta, vocals and bass; and Jay Castellon, drums.  Also, we add a percussion player (timbales, congas) on occasion, depending on the size of the venue where Canela Rose performs.  All members are accomplished musicians with many years of experience.
