Into their 9th year, Sacramento's best in R&B/Funk music, Mercy Me! (Band), continues to perform in nightclubs, casinos, private parties and fundraisers throughout the Sacramento, Folsom, Lake Tahoe and the Bay areas.
They perform cover selections by legendary artists, including their own original music. They were the opening acts for legendary performers such as The Isley Brothers in 1997; Ben E. King ("Stand By Me"), Al Wilson ("Show & Tell"), and Tower of Power in 2003.
In 1999, Mercy Me! (Band) celebrated the release of their debut CD "Sooner or Later" with rave reviews and received airplay of their CD on local "old school" radio stations.
Nominated 3 times, Mercy Me! (Band) received their first SAMMIE in 2002 in the category of "Outstanding Cover/Bar Band", sponsored by the Sacramento News & Review.
