 |
| As
early as age four, Ken developed a musical interest with
great musical groups like Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons
and The Beatles. By the age of twelve, his desire to replicate
his favorites led to the purchase of his first guitar. At
age thirteen, a never-ending quest for musical input has
led to the well-developed talents of Ken today and a passion
for writing and performing. Ken has performed with various
bands since 1985, including the Elvis impersonator, Ron Friel.
In 1995, Ken joined with other musicians to form Daze of
Green. The band created two CDs: A Musical Philosophy and
When the Last Shining Star Falls, as well as numerous other
compilations and projects Ken accomplished with the band.
Ken now works as a soloist, but is available for both small
acoustic sets and full band performances. Ken’s influences
are artists: Brian Setzer, Neil Finn, The Beatles, Elvis
and The Beach Boys, to name a few. His sound can be compared
to Neil Finn or Dave Matthews and has been referred to as
having a Beatle-isk overtone. With all these talented influences,
Ken has developed a sound of his own. |
